This policy explains what personal data CampusQ collects, why, and how it is protected — both for coaching-center staff who run the platform and for the students and guardians whose information centers manage in it.
1. Information we collect
Account information (name, phone number, email, username), your organization's details, and — entered by your center — student records such as profiles, guardian contacts, attendance, exam results and fee history. We also collect technical logs (IP address, device, usage) to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How we use information
To operate the service, process payments via bKash, send transactional SMS (login credentials, OTPs, fee reminders) through our SMS provider, provide support, and improve performance. We do not sell personal data and we do not use student data for advertising.
3. Who is responsible for student data
The coaching center that enters student data controls that data; CampusQ processes it on the center's instructions. Students and guardians should contact their coaching center for corrections or removal — we help centers fulfil such requests promptly.
4. Sharing
Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the service: the payment gateway (bKash), our SMS provider, and our hosting infrastructure — each under appropriate safeguards. We disclose data when the law requires it.
5. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, every organization's data is isolated at the database level (row-level security), access is role-based, and sensitive operations are logged. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your data we will notify you as required.
6. Retention
Data is kept while your subscription is active, and for 60 days after termination so you can export it — then it is deleted from production systems. Some payment and invoice records are retained longer where the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. For student records, contact your coaching center first (they control that data). We respond to requests within 30 days.
8. Cookies and analytics
This marketing site uses cookies and analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to understand traffic. The CampusQ application itself uses only essential session cookies needed for login.
9. Changes to this policy
Updates are posted on this page with the date above. For material changes we notify customers in the app.
